Recollective Application Privacy Policy

Date of last revision: July 14, 2023

Recollective Inc. (“Recollective”, “we” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our user’s (“you”) personal information. The following statement explains our information gathering and dissemination practices as they relate to Recollective software as a service.

Information Collected

When you register with Recollective, or enter via a Single Sign On process, Recollective requires a minimum disclosure of your first name, last name and email address. You may also be required to disclose other demographic information such as your date of birth and gender. Collectively this is all referred to as "registration data". Depending on the community or study you are participating in, you may be asked to disclose other profile information. As part of your registration, you will be asked to select a username and password for use at Recollective. Please keep your password confidential at all times. If you believe that the security of your password has been compromised, please contact Recollective immediately.

Within Recollective, registered users may configure communities or activities that will request that you disclose personal information. Your answers to such requests are shared with the study administrators and possibly with other participants, and as such, are subject to possible disclosure by those users. These administrators and other participants are Recollective users, but are not operating under any association with Recollective. Recollective is not responsible for the actions of those administrators or any other users of Recollective. All users are subject to compliance with the terms of use of our services set forth in the applicable agreement governing the community or study (“Terms of Service”).

Recollective does not monitor your communications on Recollective, but may, in its discretion, do so if it believes that such action is necessary to protect and defend the rights or property of Recollective or others, or to protect the personal safety of other users or the public, or to address any contravention of the Terms of Service which governs your use of this service.

Use of Information

The registration data - including your first and last names, user name, and email address - is used by our service to identify you and your contributions to the Recollective system. A valid email address is required by our service to provide you with updated information from Recollective, including activity updates, automated notifications, and service information.

Demographic and profile data may be used to personalize our service to your interests and may be shared by Recollective with our partners on an aggregate basis only.
