Whether you're an experienced online researcher or launching an online project for the first time, it can be a challenge to know how to setup or design your project to optimize results and engagement. Even if you've used Recollective in the past, there might be times when you need inspiration or want to try something new. That’s why we created the Recollective Activity Library!

Back in April we announced the first phase, the Task Type Library, which was designed to give researchers a resource to help in exploring how to leverage Recollective’s 13 different Task types when creating an Activity Guide.

Today we're excited to release the second phase of this initiative – the Activity and Discussion Library. It provides various examples to showcase how researchers can leverage Recollective to target specific research applications. Comprised of multiple Activities and Discussions, each example is geared towards a specific application to help provide inspiration.

To start, we have provided Activity and Discussion examples to cover the following applications and will continue to expand the Library over time.

  • Consumer Exploration
  • Brand Exploration
  • Testing & Evaluation
  • Mobile Missions
  • Product Tests (IHUTs)
  • Diary & Journaling
  • Co-creation and Ideation
  • General Discussions
  • Member Generated Discussions
  • Private Forums

The Library encourages you, as a researcher, to explore different designs, become familiar with the platform and leverage Recollective's capabilities to expand the way you design your studies. While each of the Activities and Discussions is not meant to be a comprehensive guide, you can use these examples as a starting point when creating your own.

The Activity and Discussion Library is officially available for client-access on 2 September, 2020. If you're interested in gaining access, please contact a sales representative to set up an account. Once that's done, you will be able to view both Libraries, read through the Activities and Discussions at your own pace and Preview the Tasks.

This Activity Library is the second release in a series of helpful resources we're introducing for Recollective customers. Stay tuned to the blog for more announcements and information to help you expand the way your conduct research using Recollective!
