Digital Marketer

Recollective is looking for an experienced full time Digital Marketer to join our team as we create a new future in social research software. As part of our growing business development team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, tracking and optimizing our marketing campaigns and brand presence across digital channels.


Recollective builds ground-breaking social software, bringing people together to connect, engage and collaborate with intuitive ease and reliability. Whatever you need to do, from gathering business insights that go beyond surveys, innovating and co-developing the next big thing, building brand advocates or empowering employees to work smarter, it can be done using one of Recollective's suite of online community software solutions.

Recollective is an intuitive new approach for building online qualitative research studies that incorporate modern online community and social capabilities. Recollective is available to research agencies, enterprises or other professionals as a cloud-based, highly scalable software solution.

As part of our commitment to a safe working environment during the COVID-19 pandemic, Recollective currently has openings for full-time digital marketers working remotely from home. The head office is currently relocating from Gatineau, QC to downtown Ottawa, Ontario during the Fall of 2020.


  • Plan, execute and report on digital marketing efforts including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Identify the latest trends, insights and technologies affecting our industry
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence and industry listings
  • Brainstorm new and creative digital growth strategies
  • Plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests

Required skills and experience

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a digital marketing or advertising position.
  • Proven experience delivering effective and innovative digital campaigns.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data (ROI and KPIs)
  • Experience with email and customer marketing software (such as Pardot, Mailchimp and Salesforce)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with a demonstrated ability to work with senior individuals across a wide range of industries and disciplines.
  • Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in a fast-paced team environment, work independently, and effectively track and manage personal targets.
  • Degree or diploma in marketing or business management considered a strong an asset.
  • Preference given to candidates with experience of the Marketing Research Industry.
