Account Executive, New Customer Growth

Our New Customer Growth team advises and guides all new customers ensuring they are properly introduced into the Recollective ecosystem.

As an Account Executive within this team, you will be the trusted point of contact for customers as they familiarise themselves with our products and services. It is essential that you are passionate about the success of our customers throughout their entire customer lifecycle: onboarding, adoption, advocacy and renewal.

This role will require you to be part Account Manager, New Business Sales Representative, product specialist and trusted advisor ensuring that every new customer is confident in their use of the Recollective platform, adopt it widely and continuously leverage Recollective for their online research.

Responsibilities

  • Work with our newest customers to further understand how they conduct research. Provide quotes and help them structure proposals, negotiate contracts and discuss how to meet their business goals using Recollective
  • Provide recommendations to maximize customers’ success when using Recollective by personalising support, providing additional resources or education and leveraging industry expertise
  • Manage a large portfolio of customers via email, telephone and Zoom meetings to discuss upcoming projects, provide Recollective platform demos and drive revenue forward to meet monthly quotas
  • Strong internal collaboration with our Directors of Business Development to ensure that newly acquired customer Accounts are transitioned seamlessly to the Accounts team
  • Become a subject matter expert on the ever-evolving Recollective platform and ecosystem to provide customers with holistic solutions
  • Build strong relationships to create new champions that advocate for Recollective within their organization and expand our user base
  • Collaborate within internal cross-functional teams by advocating customer’s feedback when Recollective advances new solutions and product features
  • Adapt existing customer onboarding processes and help refine them over time

Experience and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or high-level customer service roles with a focus on developing strong relationships with C-level executives, Directors and mid-level managers
  • Minimum 2-year college diploma, with preference being given to candidates holding a University degree in business/sales & marketing
  • Strong business acumen and experience providing strategic advice to customers and/or consultation
  • Aptitude for technology with a self-learning mindset as Recollective is a complex ecosystem with many ever-changing parts; and ability to express this concisely to customers
  • Effective communication skills via email, internal messaging tools (Slack), video calls, and over the phone
  • Self-motivated, proactive and innovative mindset to inspire customer adoption and growth
  • The mindset of being an excellent teammate who excels in challenging, fast-paced environments while not being shy to voice innovative ways to “do things better” through creative and strategic thinking
  • Passionate about the overall success of the company and eagerness to take on additional responsibilities outside of this role over time
