New Business Development, Account Executive Role
Recollective is searching for an ambitious junior Account Executive to join our core New Business Development team. As a part of this global, critically important team, you will be responsible for taking qualified prospects over the finish line to become satisfied Recollective customers.
As a junior Account Executive, you will be assigned inbound leads to work and will collaborate closely with Sales Directors in Canada, the US and UK to hone your skills. You will be responsible for qualifying leads, delivering tech demos, discussing project requirements, providing accurate pricing and ultimately securing the new business.
This role may also include attending both in-person and virtual industry conferences.
This role requires all eligible candidates to be located in the Ottawa region of Canada and to work from the company head-quarters once local restrictions related to the pandemic have been lifted.

Responsibilities
- Work with our team of Sales Development Reps and Sales Directors to accept newly qualified prospects and convert them into new customers by providing information, software demonstrations and industry knowledge
- Collaborate with sales team members and managers to plan new sales campaigns
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets
- Perform post-sales call activities to ensure client satisfaction and proper use of the company's products and services, with the aim of expanding use of Recollective software and services
- Document customer experiences and formal feedback to collaborate with and support Recollective's product, sales and service teams
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in a sales role. Preference will be given to candidates having experience with a recognized software or technology vendor
- Preference given to candidates with a University degree in business/sales & marketing
- Experience leading live video and screen sharing sessions
- Self-starter that is able to work independently, effectively and committed to continuous learning
- Ability to confidently and effectively meet with C-Level and Director level contacts
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, fluency in English a essential
